Here are some tips to gain self confidence:
* Know your Skills and Talents
In order to develop self confidence, you must know yourself in detail. Scrutinize yourself. Explore your exceptional talents and keep your focus on them instead of musing on your blemishes. Find out what your exceptional skills or talents are and what sorts of activities that you can effortlessly undertake are.
* Develop your Qualities
Scrutinize on how you act in any circumstance – whether you maintain calm and collected in rushed circumstances or not; whether you are tolerant with people or frequently lose your temper. It is a known fact that no one is perfect. But, through learning what your own flaws are, and developing your good qualities, you may boost your spirits, which may, in effect, increase your self confidence.
* Do the Things that You Like the Most
This can be any act that needs creativity or any sort of hobby or sport such as basketball. If you are truly fervent about something, frequently indulge in it. It will not just keep you occupied and happy, but it will help you in feeling much more confident, as well.
* Take Care of Your Health
In order to appear confident and healthy, you will have to take good care of your body and health. Do not ever mistreat your body and do not excess it with food that is bad for you. Take in a nutritious diet and maintain regular exercise in order to burn off the surplus fat.
To gain self confidence, you have to give value to your health and safety. A fine status of well being and wonderful look will make you radiate, in effect, helping you increase your self esteem.
* Care for Your Posture
Always remember that the way that you bring yourself will be observed by everyone around you. Thus, care for your posture. Never bend your shoulders while you walk. Walk with you upper body slightly puffed up, eyes forward and chin up, instead of staring at the floor. Walking rapidly will signify that you are lively.
* Apply Eye Contact
When conversing with people, always make eye contact. The best means to do this is to move your gaze from time to time.
